Sadness, anxiety, exhaustion, apathy, irritability, lack of sleep, or retreating from activities can be normal if they are of short duration. Everyone experiences these feelings at some point, but when it becomes pervasive that is the time to seek professional help. Professional diagnosis and a treatment plan are key to recovery.
Understanding family history and the timeline of behaviors that interfere with normal coping is the start of the pathway to health. How that pathway can lead towards resolution is unique and requires individual attention in every instance.
